greepillsRepeat Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made in person at the surgery, by post, fax or e-mail.  Please use the right hand side tick list of the prescription when ordering as this reduces the possibility of errors occurring.

Our email address is: central.surgery@sthelensccg.nhs.uk

Alternatively you may order online via the link at the top of this page. (Please note, new users are required to register prior to using this service).

Please allow 48 hours for requests to be dealt with. This allows adequate time for a good quality repeat prescribing system to operate. If you request routine medication for the same day your request may be declined. Only the following medications are exceptions to the 48 hour rule: Anticonvulsants (for epilepsy), Warfarin, Insulin, Antipsychosis medication and Ventolin (for acute problems only).

Repeat Dispensing - a new way to get repeat prescriptions

Do you get the same medicines regularly?  Do you use the same pharmacy?

Would you like to get your repeat prescriptions direct from your pharmacy, rather than getting them from your doctor each time?

For more information about repeat dispensing either ask at your pharmacy, as the receptionist for a leaflet or speak to the doctor next time you are in surgery.
