Online services - Have you registered for online access?

Once you have registered for online access you can beat the queue and book appointments online, order repeat prescriptions and view some areas of your medical records, such as test results. To register you will need to call in to the Practice with photographic ID and recent proof of address.

An Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is an advanced nursing role, they have acquired the expert knowledge base, complex decision-making skills and clinical competencies for expanded practice. They can assess, diagnose, refer and prescribe and work closely with the rest of the practice team

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning and healthy living advice.

The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Healthcare Assistants

Mrs Jennifer Pye (f)

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as basic observations, including blood pressure, height and weight, ECG's, new patient medicals, vaccinations and INR monitoring. 

They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
